Statements are sent to each patient that has an account balance. The Accounts Department will be happy to explain any questions you may have regarding your statement. The Accounts Department is available by telephone Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
If you were involved in an accident or were injured by someone else, a third party may be liable to you for damage or loss. However, the Salina Clinic has an established relationship with you and not the other party, and considers you responsible for all charges incurred during service. Contact the Accounts Department if special arrangements for payment need to be made.
Payment is due at the time of service, however, if you have insurance our staff will assist you by filing your claim with your insurance company. In order to file your claim, our staff will need your current insurance information. Any amount not paid by your insurance is your responsibility.
Your insurance is a private contract between you and your insurance company. Patients must know what their insurance contract specifies for co-payments and referrals and abide by these guidelines.
If you need a referral from our office, please notify our business at least 3 days before your appointment if possible. It takes some time to coordinate referrals, and same day referrals cannot be given.
Medicaid specifies that patients receive medical service from the primary care physician stated on their card. Patients with Medicaid are required to bring their card with them to every appointment.
